We are pleased to provide an update on Parry Terraces, where our dedicated team worked hard over the holidays and made significant progress across all units.
In Block 1, we are proud to announce that all second fix work has been completed and carpet is installed in the bedrooms, stairs, and hallways. Additionally, the scaffold has been dropped, and the brick veneer installation is 90% complete.
Block 2 has seen the gib fixing to all units complete, with undercoat applied to the walls and light checks performed. We are currently completing remedial work following the light check, with finishing lines such as architraves and skirtings installed, entry doors in place, and tiling completed in the bathrooms and laundries. Our team is also progressing with external painting and cedar window surrounds.
Block 3 has seen the gib fixing to walls completed, the ceiling framework installed, unit entry and internal doors in place,
and the services’ first fix underway. External cedar cladding is now being fixed to the building envelope.
In Block 4, the unit entry doors have been installed, mid-floor flashing has been put in place, roof cowls have been installed, and services’ first fix is in progress.
And in Block 5, gib fixing is currently underway, brick rails have commenced, and services’ first fix continues to progress.
We are also happy to report that the cavity batten installation to levels 1 and 2 across blocks 3, 4 and 5 is now 90% complete, and the brick veneer installation to blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4 is well underway. The M5 Dorma Karba front entry door locks have been installed on all doors, and the passive fire installation externally to blocks 3, 4, and 5 is now complete.
